I make videos about my bakery with my three beautiful kids narrating our day ❤️🥹 Every now and then we mention that we’re Kurdish or talk about Kurdistan. And for some reason that brings comments saying, “Kurdistan doesn’t exist.” Unfortunately, racism against Kurdish people is still prevalent, especially online. It needs to stop. It’s important to mention that yes, Kurdistan does exist. I am Kurdish. My family is Kurdish. My kids are Kurdish. We are very proud of who we are and where our family comes from ❤️ This video isn’t about arguing with anyone. It’s about showing the world what a Kurdish family looks like, sounds like, and the experiences we share together. How can you deny somebody their identity? The subject has been bothering me for a very long time and it’s something that will continue to bother me as my kids grow older.
