Looking for a 4th of July braid hairstyle? Give this one a try. Start by splitting the hair in half and then lightly mist the roots with water and smooth back any baby hairs. Then I'm going to split this side into six sections. Split the first pony in half and bring the second pony up in the middle, then add the two halves into the third pony. I like to butterfly the sections as I go for added fullness. I love dragon braids because you can make them look really full and they stay put all day. Split that top pony in half, then bring the next pony up the center, then add the two halves into the third one. To butterfly the side sections, just gently pinch those side sections and pull out slowly. Once I reach the tail end, I still like to pull out a small section out of that bottom pony to anchor those two halves to it. It helps keep the braid from sagging and gives it more fullness. Remember to butterfly the sections as you go so that you don't have to play a game of tug-of-war at the end of the braid. Repeat these steps until you reach your desired length, then spin to the opposite side and repeat this same step. These braids are sure to turn heads wherever you go.
