4TH OF JULY BRAIDS

Looking for a 4th of July braided hairstyle, give this one a try. Start by splitting the hair in half and then we're going to part off a star right in the back. Once the star is all parted off, keep it split in half because we're going to add a braid to each one. Direct each one over to the opposite side before starting your braid. For the main braids, we're going to do Dutch braids. For the Dutch braids, you take the center strand over the outside strand so that the braid sits right on top of the hair. Take the center strand over the right strand, then add hair into that middle strand. Then take the center strand over the left strand and add hair into that middle strand. Repeat these steps until all the hair has been added in. Once you reach the bottom of the star, remember to add in that mini braid from the opposite side. For that very last section, I like to add it in as a whole to help keep the braid tight right at the bottom. Braid out just a little bit to lock in that hair, then I'm going to butterfly the braid for added fullness. Her hair is so long, so it's easier for me to do this in steps and instead of waiting till the very end to just butterfly the whole thing. Spin to the other side and repeat the same steps. To finish, we're going to add a little bit of glitter to outline that star to really make it pop. This one turned out so cute. Let's see Paisley's reaction. That's so cute. That's so cute.
