So I really like the life that I built for myself here at 29, and I attribute that to learning a few good lessons relatively early. Number one, figure your values, make them non-negotiable, and build your life pretty much around them. Number two, the grass is greener where it is watered. Stop looking over the fence, face your front. Number three, it is your name on the front door to your life. Act accordingly. Number four, freedom begins where the chase and the need for approval actually ends. Number five, the life you want will actually cost you before it rewards you. So you either pay the price now, or you pay with regret later. Number six, your life is an accumulation of your standards. Number seven, you will only evolve as much as you're willing to actually be genuinely and brutally honest with yourself. Number eight, heal, so you don't ask other people to carry wounds that they didn't actually create. Number nine, do not go to war with people who are already at war with themselves. It's just not worth it. Number 10, joy isn't something that you find. It is something that you create. Number 11, stop outsourcing your self-esteem, build it intentionally, protect it fiercely. Number 12, stop trying to figure out your purpose and just go and live your life. Number 13, mistakes are still proof that you are actually trying. Go a little bit easier on yourself. Number 14, make the decision and then make the decision right. Number 15, stop expecting you from other people. That doesn't mean lower your standards, it simply means meet people where they are, or leave them where they are.
