If you're feeling particularly stuck or lost in life right now. Here are a couple of things that I would suggest trying. Coming from somebody who's been in the trenches a couple of times. One, get radically honest with yourself. Most of the time, feeling stuck or lost is a signal that something needs to change. So the question shouldn't be, what am I doing with my life? But actually, what things have I been avoiding? What decisions am I delaying? What risks am I not taking? And what red flags am I actually ignoring? Growth will start where denial ends. Two, consider a change in environment. That's not to say that you need to move houses, cities, and if that's something that's on your radar, then God speed. But something as small as working from a different cafe or visiting a new city or spending time with new people might actually inspire a shift because a new environment often creates a new perspective. Three, audit your relationships. You truly are a sum of the people that you spend the most time with. And if you don't feel particularly empowered, safe, I'd start having some really hard conversations and if need be, make some really hard decisions. Four, commit to daily movement. And that's not to say that you need to be in the gym every single day. You don't need to run a 10k every day. It can actually be as simple as going for a 10-minute walk every single morning. Make movement the one appointment that you make and keep with yourself every single day. Five, become a beginner again. Learn something new, try something new. Put yourself in a room where you have to actively engage with something you've never done before. Six, pick one challenge that scares you shitless. For me, it was running a half marathon as somebody who categorically hated long distance running. And now by the end of this year, I would have ran three, and I run my first full marathon next year. Big goals create momentum because they force you to actually become somebody new.
