These are three movements that you can do that opens up every level of your pelvis that can lead to an optimal, quicker labor and delivery and just helps you prep for birth. First one, we are going to focus on external hip rotation so knees out. So we are going to sit in a deep squat hold. If this is a little too challenging for you, you can always place a yoga block on the bottom right here, but you are going to hit a deep squat hold, focus on your breathing, focusing on releasing all of your pelvic floor muscles and just breathing down, keeping your knees out wide. Some lateral lunge stretch rocks to open up that mid-pelvis, making room for baby to move and adjust if needed and as always, focusing on your breath and releasing any tension in those pelvic floor muscles. And then for your pelvic outlet, think hips in internal hip rotation. So your ankles are going to be wider than your knees. And you can just do some rock backs like so. It's kind of like a modified child's pose, keeping those ankles wider than your knees, opening up as deep into that stretch as you can to focus on your pelvic outlet. And right there you have three exercises that anybody and everyone can do to help prep their body for birth.
