The part of being a founder nobody talks about is finance admin. Zero just put an AI agent on top of it called JAX. He's what a week of using it looks like. Quick context, Xero is the cloud accounting platform I've run my business on for years. And honestly, without it, I kind of struggle to pay the bills. JAX is their new AI financial agent that sits on top of it. Here's what that actually looks like day to day. For example, I'll be deep in a build and I'll remember I never sent that invoice two weeks ago. Now, I just have to ask JAX to draft it. It's done in seconds and I can get back to building. If a client hasn't paid yet, JAX drafts a follow up in my tone. I read it, send it, then move on. If I have a random receipt sitting in my inbox from a flight three weeks ago, JAX pulls it in, categorizes it and files it against the right business. I didn't have to open a spreadsheet once. And this is the part that actually matters. I'm not replacing my accountant. And I'm certainly not pretending I suddenly love bookkeeping. I'm just letting an AI agent handle the friction that pulls me out of the work I want to be doing, which for me is working on more AI systems. Big thanks to Xero for partnering on this one. If you've been thinking about trying Xero, now is a good time. Visit the link in my bio for a special offer.
