The metamorphosis of painted lady butterflies absolutely blew my mind…2nd generation INCOMING!🦋 If you’re curious as to how I ended up accidentally raising WAY too many caterpillars….well….my initial 11 hatched, mated, laid COUNTLESS tiny blue eggs…and now the new babies have grown up and are JUST about to form chrysalises! Even though I didn’t expect this to happen, honestly now I can't imagine spending my mornings any other way than cleaning A LOT of caterpillar poop 🐛 And even though I don’t know how this cycle will ever end…I feel like a Disney princess so it doesn’t even matter!!! And btw, I was able to track every stage of my experiment using my app: ‘Grow It!’ (Links below!)
