Learn with UG | The Hidden Damage of Negative Emotions We often talk about physical health. But how often do we talk about the emotions silently affecting it? During my NLP Practitioner Certification, one concept stayed with me: Sometimes, the emotion is no longer protecting us—it is hurting us. The training encourages us to keep the learning, but let go of the emotional burden. Here are five emotions we all experience: 😠 Anger Prolonged anger is associated with increased stress on the body and has been linked to heart attacks and heightened cholesterol. 😔 Sadness Persistent sadness can weaken motivation and is associated with a weakened immune system and depression. 😨 Fear Fear protects us from danger. But when it becomes permanent, it can lead to excessive stress, PTSD, and phobias. 😞 Guilt The most dangerous word is often "Kaash..." (If only...). You cannot change the past. You can only change what you do today. ⚔️ Conflict Living in constant conflict drains your emotional energy and can negatively affect your health, relationships, and professional image. The biggest realization for me was this: These emotions are not your identity. They are emotional patterns. And patterns can change. Keep the lesson. Release the emotional burden. That is where healing begins. 🎥 This clip is from a longer 8-minute monologue. The full YouTube video link is in the comments.
