I'm 22 years old and I have over $10,000 in my savings account and I wanted to start this series called Finance Fridays where I give tips on how to save money, how to invest, all things finance because I think these are important things to know. I want to talk about the art of side hustles. There's a lot of side hustles you can do. Me personally, one way that I have been able to save money is by social media. I do content creation on the side, so anything that I make from these brands or like anything UGC goes straight to my savings account because I have another job where I get paid, so I try to live off of that job during these times. Everybody kind of needs a little bit of a side hustle. I used to do photography, that was a little bit of an income. Obviously like the basics like babysitting or walking a dog, just think about anything you're good at and see how you could offer it. There's a lot of people around me who bake, they sell cupcakes, they sell cakes, flowers, they do a balloon arrangement, like they do all these types of different things which I think is incredible because there's always a market for that. Think about something around you that a lot of people are interested in and see how you could offer your service. It's a great source of income, especially during times like now.
