Broke to financially stable
How I saved
my first $10,000
I got a second job / started a side hustle! You can't save or budget your way out of being broke. I was writing resumes for people, doing UGC & worked at a group home about 25-30 hours.
I focused on cutting out eating out and going out. This is short term and of course you want to live your life but short term sacrifices for long term rewards!
I made sure any extra income whether from bonus, birthday gifts, refunds, taxes or anything all went to my savings!
I automated my main job to put 10-20% into my high yield savings that way I didn't have to manually do it! Out of sight out of mind!
