Welcome to the battle of the illuminators. I've been wanting to make this video for so long now comparing all of the popular luminizers and bronzing drops and all of the viral glowy prep steps that I've seen all over this app. So today I'm giving you my unfiltered thoughts on each of them and which one is my favorite. If you follow me, you might already figured this out. First up, this pains me just to look at it. This is the brand new Rhode highlight melt. I have seen people hyping this up everywhere, but I cannot use this because the formula is so similar to the Rhode glazing milk, which breaks me out so bad. It's literally like the glazing milk with added shimmer. And also because it does have a thinner texture, it's gonna be way easier to run through this faster, whereas some of these other ones I could make them last because they're more creamy and a little bit does go a longer way. Next up, I think I should just say now, this is my favorite. This is the Saie Glowy Super Gel. My favorite shade is Sunglow. I've actually been using this bottle for so long now and I'm just now getting down to the end of it. This works so beautifully under makeup and helps prime my skin without being too much for my skin. It's lightweight, it blends effortlessly, it gives you that glow from within. It's not streaky, the glow and that little bit of like warmth actually lasts on my face. It is also unlike someone, non-comedogenic and it is incredibly for my more acne-prone and sensitive skin. This is perfection. I have zero notes. It is easily my favorite of all time. Next up, we have the e.l.f. Bronzing Drops. These ones I cannot make work without a moisturizer. A lot of these other ones you can use them on their own and they blend out very well. But this one, if you use it alone, it will be so streaky and patchy. It needs a moisturizer to act as a buffer. And even then, I'm like, it's just really not that great. Next up, we have the Glow Recipe Watermelon Glow Niacinamide Dew Drops. These blend out so smoothly. They are so beautifully hydrating. I really like the Sunglow shade so you can get a bit of that bronzing, but unfortunately, these now break me out. I was able to use them years ago and they didn't affect my skin negatively in anyway. But now, unfortunately, I've noticed my sensitivity to niacinamide has gotten so much worse. So, it is sad that I can't use these without my skin breaking out because they are very good. And last but not least, I want to love this and I did not. Sad too, because I love so many things from Westman Atelier. This is their liquid-lite dewy luminizer. This formula separates so bad in the bottle. Last time I tried to pump some out onto my hand and I just literally got just oil, like no bronzing or illuminating effect at all. I have combination skin that definitely gets a bit more oily in the summer. And that paired with the separation, I wish I could say I liked this, but unfortunately, I do not. Once again, the hands down winner is the Saie Glowy Super Gel. You already knew this was my favorite though.
