POV: Fireworks From an Aircraft Carrier Get ready with me to watch Fourth of July fireworks from an aircraft carrier. So tonight's view is a little different. Come with me as we head up to the flight deck of an aircraft carrier to watch the Fourth of July fireworks. Now the journey up there is always an adventure. Ladders, hatches, and what feels like a million turns later, we finally make it to the top side. And just look at it. It's already dark out. The breeze is perfect. And the flight deck at night has a completely different vibe. During the day, it's non-stop flight operations, but tonight, it's quiet, calm, and honestly, one of the coolest places to spend the evening. Honestly, this is just one of those views that I never get tired of. Just look at it. Red, white, and blue baby. Since we're more than Pearl Harbor, we're sitting right on the water with an incredible view of Honolulu. You can see the city lights stretching across the shoreline. And you already know what's about to happen. So I found the perfect spot, unfolded my lawn chair, kicked back, and waited for the show to start. A few minutes later, boom! Fireworks started lighting up the entire sky. Watching the Fourth of July from the flight deck of an aircraft carrier in Pearl Harbor is definitely one of those experiences I'll never forget. Happy Fourth of July, and as always, stay salty shipmates.
