I just got paid, so let's budget my paycheck as somebody that makes six figures while living in San Diego. So for additional context, I'm single, no kids. I live alone and also I'm trying to pay off 18K debt for 2026. So let's get into it. I use my budget template now for my payday routine. So if you have any questions, just go ahead and comment. So first things first, I put into my savings, it's just a $200. It goes directly into a different account. Then I'm paying my hefty rent in San Diego. So that's pretty much all of it there. I love creating a little bit of a buffer because you just can't really predict every single purchase. Next, I'm paying off this sofa loan that I have. And lastly, what's remaining in my checkings, so I use this for groceries and gas, essentially. That's all I essentially need for those two weeks.
