SOMEONE PLEASE MAKE THIS MAKE SENSE ON JANUARY 6TH, 2021 THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE CAME TO THE CAPITOL MANY PUSHED PAST BARRICADES CAPITOL STEPS TO COMMIT ACTS OF VIOLENCE AND PROPERTY DAMAGE YET ROUGHLY ONLY 1500 PEOPLE WERE ULTIMATELY CHARGED IN CONNECTION WITH JANUARY 6TH WAS PRESENT ON THAT DAY PRESENT ON THOSE STEPS I MEAN YESTERDAY AN ACTIVE DUTY AIR FORCE MAJOR STOOD PEACEFULLY ON THE CAPITOL STEPS HOLDING A SIGN AND WAS ARRESTED ALMOST IMMEDIATELY SO HERE'S MY QUESTION IF SOMEONE CAN BE ARRESTED SIMPLY FOR BEING ON THOSE STEPS DURING A PROTEST WHY WASNT EVERY PERSON WHO UNLAWFULLY ENTERED OR REMAINED ON THOSE SAME CAPITAL STEPS ON JANUARY 6TH ARRESTED AS WELL I'M NOT ASKING FOR PARTISAN ANSWERS HERE I'M ASKING FOR CONSISTENCY FOR EVERYBODY IF THE STANDARD IS THAT PROTESTING ON RESTRICTED CAPITOL GROUNDS RESULTS IN ARREST THEN WHY DOES IT ENFORCED SO DIFFERENTLY IN THESE TWO SITUATIONS EXPLAIN IT TO ME LIKE I'M FIVE PLEASE
