I went to lunch with two friends yesterday and my money TikTok came up. One said, "Hey, you should make a video about how to automate my HSA investments. I do it manually right now. It's so time-consuming. I have to manually go in and allocate one to two hundred dollars every single month or every single paycheck." The other friend chimed in and was like, "Jasmine, actually before you make that video, you should make a video about the fact that you can invest your HSA and you really shouldn't be spending the money." This comes up over and over again. She's 28, 29 years old and said she just found out a year or two ago that she shouldn't be spending her HSA. And so many people don't know this. And I feel like it's such a recurring, like, aha moment for people in their 20s to learn that their HSA is an investment account. Talking about money is so important with your friends, with your significant other because you don't know what you don't know. And unless someone tells you, whether it's your company, whether to do your own research and hear something someone wrote an article or you talk about it with your friends, your friends will never know.
