If you live in New York City and you feel like you're not being paid enough and like money is your main goal and you don't currently work in tech, I highly, highly recommend take your job title, copy it and put it into LinkedIn and search for that role at tech companies. The amount of money that tech companies have, to pay for very similar roles that every other industry has, marketing positions, operations positions is crazy. I'm not saying like money's the most important thing, but if you feel like money is tight, see if you can do that position at another company.
