When you invite the celebrity to sit down, what's going to make them want to lean in? You know, it's not just a chair with a fake backdrop of LA behind me, and I'm like, tell me your deepest, darkest secret. You know, like, we have to establish that you can trust me in this culture of gotcha, I'm not going to get you. Why would you trust me? And so if you walk in, in a silly cape and a silly hat and, you know, if you've watched one episode, we do our research, you're not walking in and I'm like, so who are you and what do you do? You know, it's not that. You're in good hands and we cut whatever they want cut. I'm not here to make you uncomfortable or, you know, I'm doing hard hitting journalism. Like, we're here to have fun. And I want people to see that there's a human behind the celebrity on the screen. So that was the initial idea of combining all these influences with my own spin, with a unique ability that I have, that I just love to connect with people through humor and through like shared interest. And yeah, what the end product was, was Royal Court.
