Isometric Training 🧱⚡️⏱️ Still one of my favorite tools for building capacities & resilienceeee. Strength, power expression, rehab, tissue prep, positional awareness… Idk I personally use isos constantly, and in all different blocks / phases of training throughout the year and in each session. Theres so many ways to manipulate them: 📐Change the joint angle 🏃🏽Target specific positions ⏱️Adjust intensity + intent 🧬Isolate or integrate body parts ⛰️Push against an immovable object 🧍🏽Just hold against gravity ⚖️Load heavy 🪶Load super light / no weight Etc. Etc. Joints can stay relatively still, while the system can learn to create tension, stiffness, control, or force in that position. One of the quickest ways to find weak points in the body for me. Simple doesn’t mean easy. Athletes of sport or life looking to move better and train with purpose… I GOTCHU. All programs are on my app :)
