Here's a security tip that I bet you didn't know. Hanging an American flag outside of your house, hear me out. See, a flag out front looks like patriotism, which is exactly why nobody thinks of it as security. So to a burglar casing your street, that flag screams this guy probably owns guns and knows how to use them. So they cross your house off the hit list because it's too risky compared to your neighbor who doesn't have one. So if you haven't yet, get yourself that $10 flag and put one up anytime you leave town, because it's the cheapest security you'll ever own.
