Trust your gut instincts (ALWAYS). If your gut instincts is ever telling you something is wrong, leave immediately. Whatever situation you're in, listen to that gut instinct and do exactly what it's telling you to do. Leave the area. You do not need proof to remove yourself from a potential situation that is dangerous. Turn off all lights in the event of a home intrusion. If somebody is ever trying to break into your home, turn off all of your lights. Always remember that you know your house layout better than anyone else. When being grabbed, drop your weight. When you're being grabbed physically, especially trying to take you to a secondary location, like a car, drop your weight and go limp. This goes especially if you are a very heavy weight person. Most attackers and abductors rely on quick control and dead weight is so much harder to move than somebody resisting upright. When isolated and approached by stranger, pay attention to their hands. Always keep an eye on them. Some attackers are extremely quick and agile, relying on just seconds of distraction. Never physically remove your eye from them unless you are far away for sure.
