I've never seen a single worse after a layoff. Some of my content club recently got laid off and I told her congratulations. And everybody else was sending these like three paragraph long pity parties saying sorry they are. And that's really actually worse. Next time your friends get laid off, them, I congratulate them. I know it sounds insane, but I have coached literally hundreds of people through layoffs. Once, not a single time. See somebody's life get worse because of it. And I know you guys can back me up here. If you've been laid off over one, two, write in the comments that your life has gotten better because I promise you cannot find a person worse. Two, three, five years after a layoff. I understand devastating. But I promise is leaving better. Better. Layoff is not a punishment from the universe. Redirection. It is propelling you into something greater. And let's be honest, you didn't really like that job anyways.
