Thoroughout this journey, I’ve always wanted to be open and honest about everything, including money. Some people will see these numbers and think I’m bragging. Some will see it with envious eyes. Some (and I’m hoping most) will see it for what it is - me being fully transparent of what my hard work over these last four months has equated to. But not only that, these numbers wouldn’t be possible if it wasn’t for you guys following me, supporting me and shouting from the rooftops about Daughter of the Night. And for that, you have no idea how grateful I am for every single one of you. These are numbers I could only have dreamt of for total sales, let alone pre-launch numbers. My mind is truly blown 🤯 I’ve spent £8.8k so far on making this crazy-ass dream a reality, and I know that isn’t profit (it’s likely not even a small amount of it), but just knowing that this is only the start of my journey, fills me with such hope. I also hope that if you’re a writer who aspires to self-publish, that you know it’s entirely possible with hard work, determination, (the little help of a loan and selling some items), and a crazy dream…you can make it happen too.
