MY HONEST THOUGHTS
ON MY AZELAIC ACID CREAMS
as someone with super sensitive,
acne-prone skin
try these if the korean ones
don't work for you
PHARMACY WIN.
Around USD20 (in Thailand).
Price varies a lot depending on country
Skinoren
CREAM
the most effective that works amazing for keeping
acne at bay, reducing inflammation & gently
exfoliating
X can be very irritating & itchy for beginners. By
prescription only (in some countries)
THE
BEST ONE YET.
around USD 12.
affordable on yesstyle
20% is more effective for me.
But the 15% is good for
beginners to azelaic acid

KISO
AZELAIC ACID
CREAM 15

works JUST as well as the Skinoren BUT doesn't
require a prescription. Has a more elegant texture that
absorbs faster WITHOUT the irritation or itch. I find
this makes my skin feel sooo smooth & my pores less
congested after consistently using it. Brightens my
dark spots too
nothing really. It's quite possibly perfect for me

they have diff versions &
concentrations.
Some with salicylic acid, etc.
but I haven't tried those yet
great for reducing acne, very elegant lotion/
cream texture. The pH suggests that the delivery
system is very solid and is well formulated.
X not the best for redness improving. also dries my
skin out. So I prefer using it as a spot treatment
GENTLE
ALTERNATIVE.
USD 25
found in Japanese pharmacies etc.
AZELAIN
CONCENTRATE CREAM
super gentle, great for soothing painful, freshly
formed acne. Very famous in Japan/ Taiwan!
X uses a azelaic acid derivative so it's not quite the
same as default azelaic acid. Doesnt exfoliate ot
help to brighten spots like azelaic acid
NOT FOR THE
FAINT OF HEART.
恩 酮 霜
AZEL CREAM

this is a local Taiwanese azelaic acid that I
bought from their pharmacy. I thought it will be
similar to Skinoren BUT it's way more gel-like and
elegant. Same benefits too
because of the gel texture, it absorbs much
deeper and it was SO DRYING. I literally flaked. Not
for the faint of heart esp if you're a beginner
