And sadly, the judges agreed with them. The Internet Archive is an essential tool that has archived over 805 billion web pages and more. And to think that their services can be shut down over this lawsuit is a very scary thought. So, here are some things you can do personally. You can host an open-source version of an archiving service called Wayback. This repository is freely available for anyone to run and download. Use Wayback to download all archives of a specific URL that maybe you're passionate about. It's important that we provide a free resource to gain knowledge.
