Runners Strength, 👷🏽♀️💦💭 (Programs like this are inside my app buddy. First week’s free if you want to try it.) Some of my thoughts behind a session like this: Running might look linear, but your body is absolutely solving 3D problems every step. With that being said, I’m never just chasing strength. The goal is to train how to take in and give back force. Here’s how this session flows: 👷🏽♀️ Prep: open up ranges, wake up tissues ⚡️ Power: the foot to ground interaction isn’t fixed in humans. It changes with speed, fatigue, intent… so I train across a spectrum. You can see that in the band assisted pogos from more “sinky” to more aggressive contacts ⚖️ Strength: build force and control through the entire system. Your body has to manage force in multiple planes while moving forward. 🧱 Isometrics: own positions + improve tendon stiffness/control/ tolerance 💦 Treadmill work: light intervals, just layering it in rn and having fun GOODBYE 👋
