Wisconsin Dells water park vibes Elk Grove Village, IL

Come with me to this Chicago suburbs spot that feels like a mini Wisconsin Dells water park. This is Rainbow Falls in Elk Grove Village. And as someone who grew up in the Chicago suburbs, I'm surprised I've never been to this water park before. My sister-in-law and I took all of our kids here last week, whose ages range from 4 to 13 years old and they all had a blast! The lazy river is one of the best I've been to around here and the big waterslides made it memorable for the big kids. Peyton (13) says she liked it better than Otter Cove! Some of our kids are between 4 and 13 years old and they all had a blast! The lazy river looks like a lazy river but it actually has a strong current and a ton of water features. We also spent a lot of time together here. And at times we would split up so the little kids could go to their separate area that's for kids shorter than 48 inches, while the big kids rode these giant waterslides. Two body slides and two tube slides, enough. And of course, they have these toilet bowl slides as well. And of course, they have the classic giant bucket that fills up on memory.
