Hey Chicago suburbs, if you're a Cooper's Hawk fan, you're going to want to check out Piccolo Buco - a new concept by Cooper's Hawk. All the same Cooper's Hawk wine that we love, but a whole new menu to try! My sister in law and I had a fun time exploring the menu and found some new favorites. Here's what we tried: Crispy stuffed squash blossoms, Charred pepperoni pizza, Truffle fondue cappellacci - 10/10 both loved this one. Chicken parm - HUGE! Peach & blueberry crumble. We started with the squash blossoms that are stuffed with cheese and come with a lemon aioli. This is the charred pepperoni pizza that comes with truffle, basil and truffle honey. They cut all their pizzas table side with scissors. Kind of cool. The truffle fondue pasta was by far our favorite thing on the table. Think black truffle, brown butter, honey, and toasted pistachio. We also shared this giant chicken parm that came with spaghetti and burrata. Let's just say we definitely had some leftovers for the boys. There were so many good desserts it was hard to choose, but we went with the seasonal peach & blueberry crumble. I love a good fruit dessert in the summertime. Cooper's Hawk wine club members, you can pick up your bottles here and do your wine tasting. I definitely want to sit on their outdoor patio next time.
