I gave online courses a chance and now I'm a quantitative research engineer. Hello everybody. My name is and today I am going to be answering this question. So user is basically asking me to detail the courses I took for data science and also how I transitioned into. All right, for those who have been following um this series of me sharing my You will already know that I started with data science courses and that was through online courses and now I have transitioned to quantitative research engineering. So for data science I took four certificate. The first three were through data camp and the last one I did on. I think all these four certificate took me about three months around about there. So the first certificate was data scientist with Python and then I did machine learning with Python and then I did data analytics in SQL and the last one which I did on Udemy was Power BI. So I came from a biologic background which means that I had little to no experience in tech coding what's ever. So data came was really good in giving me this foundation and taking me from a beginner level to an advanced level. My transition came from the fact that I was already in the job. I had already learned how to solve problems using data, how to build solutions, meeting clients requirements or business requirements in my own capacity, how to use the cloud and etc. And so when the opportunity came. I was the right fit. So that's how I became a quantitative research engineer. I didn't study for that. I had work experience as a data scientist and a data science manager. I hope this video was beneficial. If you have any question regarding data science and tag, anything of the likes, please drop me a comment and I will make a video. for you for
