Hi, how long did it take until you landed your first job? I became a data scientist through online courses and have recently progressed to quantitative research engineering. Hello everybody. My name is Morindeni Boloi and today I am going to be answering this question and also giving you tips on how you can boost your CV if you are pursuing a career in technology. So, let's get to it. Noxie, it took me six to eight months because I started applying for internships and junior roles around August, September, November, and I finally got a response in April of the following year. So, yeah, that's how long it took. If you are applying for jobs in technology, here is one thing you don't want to miss. Have projects in your CV. I think that helped me quite a lot because I didn't just come with a certificate, I put projects on there. I did projects on Kaggle.com and then I also put that on Medium.com. So Medium is like a platform where you can put your projects, blogs, or all of those nice things. And then I also put that on the CV. So, you know, you want to stand out from the rest of the crowd.
