Here's everything I do the day that I get paid to make sure that I actually have enough money to last me to the next paycheck. Number one is I pay all of my big bills first. So what this means is I pay my rent, I pay my car payment, I budget out money for groceries. I do all that stuff at the beginning of the month. That way I'm not trying to scam, try to find the money for rent or my car payment at the end of the month. The second thing that I do is I contribute money to savings and to investments. Right now this comes out to about $1,200 every single month with half of that going into my Roth IRA, which is my retirement and then half of that going into an individual brokerage account. Which is kind of for more speculative stocks. I'm super young so I can afford to take on more risk right now. The third thing that I do is I budget for fun every single month. If anybody is telling you to make a budget and there's not specifically money budgeted out for fun or for going out or for entertainment, then it's not a real budget and it's not something that you're going to be able to actually stick to because like anything else in life, having a budget and being able to follow a routine like this, all comes down to balance. So while yes, it's important to invest and to save money. It's also important that you have money budgeted out to do things that you actually want to do, so we actually enjoy life as well. Well, I'll more and I'll see you in the next one. Peace.
