In part ten of repairing a DEWALT 20V MAX SDS Rotary Hammer Drill (DCH273B), we've found a new spring for the connecting rod. Even though the spring is somewhat long and stiff it might be possible to cut it down a little in order to make it work with this hammer drill. After snipping a little off of the spring and finding it again after losing it for a while, it seems to be a perfect match. Once the gearbox is back together we'll throw a battery on it to make sure it works before fully assembling the drill. Since our initial test looked pretty good we can reassemble the drill for a full final testing. Here goes nothing!
