And all my tips are backed up by research & science. 💅🏼Getting a nose job, losing weight and improving your appearance is better for your career than going to grad school because there is a strong beauty bias in corporate hiring. 💁🏼‍♀️If you want a better job, invest in how you look. 💵Never accept a job offer on the spot. We know you’re reading a script; it’s embarrassing. ❌Do NOT get personal in a job interview. A job interview is not a date, and it is NOT therapy. 🧐Corporate hiring is all about elimination. They are looking for reasons to NOT hire you. ❌Do not volunteer information that they can’t legally ask you. ❌Do NOT tell them about your spouse and kids. ❌Do NOT tell them what you do outside of work for fun. It’s none of their business and they will use it against you. 👔There is only one color to wear to a corporate job interview and it’s NAVY. ❌Do not wear black.
