I have over $25,000 in my high yield savings account, but if I didn't know where to open one, here are three companies I'd be looking into. Starting off with AMEX, they have a 3% APY and they have no fees or minimum deposits, meaning you can open one whenever you want. Next up is Barclays which has a 3.5% APY which is kind of crazy, and again, they have no fees or minimum deposits. Plus you also get a $200 bonus if you deposit more than $25,000. Last but not least, we have SoFi. This is the highest one yet with 3.8% APY but you only get it for the first six months and only if you set up direct deposit. And after that it drops to 3.1% which is still pretty good.
