If you've heard of a high yield savings account but you're just not sure which one to use, this video is for you. These are my top three high yield savings accounts for 2026, part two. Like in part one, you really want your three baseline here. You want one with no fees, no minimum deposits, and a good APY because that's the entire point of this whole thing anyways, right? So in no particular order, our first spot is going to go to Ally. I think they're great because they offer a 3% APY and really that's kind of the minimum here that I'd consider to be good. And in addition, they offer a bucket thing for savings, which is similar to what SoFi offers, you're able to separate your savings into different goals, like a sinking fund for savings, or an emergency fund, if you have a car repair coming up, stuff like that. And lastly, they offer a spending account, which is very similar to a checking account, because they don't have any physical locations or ATMs, there's absolutely no fees associated with this. On the negative side, 3% is kind of on the lower rate here, but I'd consider it still to be good. And they also don't really offer any promotional things, they don't have any deposit promotions or bonus APY things like that. Next on the list is going to be Barclays. I think they're great because they offer a 3.5% APY, which is kind of on the higher end for high yield savings accounts currently. And in addition to that, they do offer a $200 bonus if you deposit $25,000 or more within the first 30 days and you keep it in the account for 120 days. I realize this isn't attainable for everybody, but if you have a well-stocked emergency fund that applies and that $200 bonus is just free money, right? On the negative side, they don't offer any ATMs, they don't have any physical locations or ATMs, they don't offer any wires, which I think is kind of weird. But lastly, on our list here we have Marcus. So they offer a 3.4% APY, which is great, but in addition to that, they have a promotional offer if you refer a friend, you and the friend both get a 1% bonus for three months. So 4.4% APY for three months, which is great. Additionally, they offer same-day transfers for under $100,000. I think this is great because it normally takes about three to five business days for transfers between banks. I'm not sure if it still requires your bank to accept the money and post it in your account, but if it's same-day, I mean that's amazing. On the negative side, they don't have any physical locations or ATMs, like something in bummer for that account. Go ahead and save this video for later so the next time you're sitting down trying to decide which account you want, you have a good reference for you.
