1. Start your morning with Bible reading and prayer. Before you check your bank account, check in with God. Your day — and your decisions about money — should be built on a foundation of Scripture and prayer, not anxiety or hustle. “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you” (Matthew 6:33, KJV). When God is first, provision follows. 2. Study what the Bible says about successful people. Scripture is full of examples of people God blessed with wisdom, favor, and resources — Joseph, Solomon, Abraham. Study how they walked with God and handled what He gave them. “The blessing of the LORD, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it” (Proverbs 10:22, KJV). Success rooted in godly wisdom lasts; success built any other way doesn’t. 3. Remember: whatever you sow, you reap — so sow into God’s kingdom and be generous. Your finances are a seed, not just a paycheck. “Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap” (Galatians 6:7, KJV). Give to your church, give to those in need, tithe faithfully — and trust that generosity is never a loss. “Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom” (Luke 6:38, KJV). 4. Give God thanks for everything. A grateful heart guards you from a complaining, scarcity mindset. Thank Him for what you have now, even before the breakthrough comes. “In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you” (1 Thessalonians 5:18, KJV). Gratitude positions you to receive more. 5. Don’t envy — work hard instead. Comparison steals your peace and your focus. Instead of watching what someone else has, put your head down and work as unto the Lord. “Fret not thyself because of evildoers, neither be thou envious against the workers of iniquity” (Psalm 37:1, KJV). “Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might” (Ecclesiastes 9:10, KJV). Diligence, not envy, is what God honors and rewards.
