Some people didn't get a chance to see this story yet, specifically our youtube channel, and we wanted to create a video version of our update. Sarah was induced at 33 weeks and Haven came earlier than we expected. We had hoped for at least another month of pregnancy but due to Haven having full Trisomy 18, there was a lot of unknowns and the likelihood of her passing early was significantly higher. Thank you all for the prayers and support. This season has really taught us how precious life is how much of a miracle YOU being alive is. So don't waste it. We were supposed to have more time with our daughter Haven was put on her chest my wife just broke down completely because she's holding our daughter who has no heartbeat it was the most traumatic and heartbreaking moment. I started to feel limited movement from her on Monday and I checked her heart rate was fine the next following day I still was not feeling her as often as I would so I ultimately called the OB and she recommended that we went in for triage. We monitored for about an hour. My blood pressure was high and She unfortunately wasn't responding to a lot of the stimuli that she should have. so next thing had one of the nurses for delivery come in you over to the delivery room we're like here just to checked up We weren't expecting to have a delivery today called our OB basically recommended that we had to start inducing tonight get into labor possible if we any chance at seeing Haven alive before starting the induction an ultrasound on Haven to check her position and she was again breached the week prior. She was head down. We ultimately decided to try to manually flip her and it just really stressed her out And we got heart just fade away peacefully on the ultrasound screen The induction process took the whole entire next day and at Wednesday around 8 p.m I was only two centimeters dilated. and they decided cervical ripening balloon to hopefully increase centimeters And so at morning Sarah was complaining a little back pain and the nurses came in to try just to change her positioning and they noticed that The balloon fell out and there's part of baby Haven kind of sticking out And so we basically into labor really quickly and at 109 in the morning was when Haven was born our photographer and some family members come in right before that happened capture all the entire moments throughout the whole day admire Haven and it was just a super sacred and special moment we had with her We're in our hearts forever. We're gonna forever miss her and love her We feel privileged to continue to share her story and glorify God in all of helped me during this journey is journaling every single day like she's here and talking about her Remembering her is all Alex talking about we found a lot of purpose in connecting with other families and myself You know talking to mamas out there that have been pain and the same loss ever since posting about this We've received hundreds of different DMS just from different couples that something similar or are going through something similar And respond to every single person and We are so thankful for all family members from strangers That have just poured into us and are checking We want to continue sharing this journey because there's things that come after this and lot of comments I'm so sorry for your loss you guys to reflect on yourselves thing that you for in your
