Chess is Easy

Chess is the easiest game of all time, as long as you were the one watching a replay by Gotham Chess and not the person actually sitting at the chess board. It's not just Gotham Chess, but especially the way that he breaks down the game. It makes me feel like I'm so smart. It makes me, like, sit there and I try to calculate the board, I try to evaluate it or whatever, and it's like, okay, I could definitely see that move. But then he explains why that move is good, and after like the 10th move in a row, that explains, like, various tactics of as to why this is good, I realised that the only way that I would ever be this good at chess is by pure chance. Like, if every single atom in the universe aligned it just right just enough times, because I could play at a, like, maybe 200 level, like, legitimately. I don't even know if ELOs go that low, but the way that he explains it makes me feel like I could derive these moves that grandmasters do. But I, I think it's just because when you are sitting there at the board, it's just like, you can't figure anything out. It's just blank. There's no sidebar that's telling you what's good or bad. But like, when he's explaining, it's like, oh, obviously, this is the exact momentum the game is going. Of course it would be this way.
