easy dinners for hard days Under $20 || 30 minutes Welcome back to my series Easy dinners for hard days. Whether you're going through a major life change like I am, maybe you have super young kids, or you just had a bad day at work and don't have enough brain cells to get dinner to. This series is for you. I keep all of the dinners in this series under $20, 30 minutes and $20 to make. You guys have loved my super easy biscuit sandwiches in this series, so I had to make another one. This is probably my favorite one yet. These are my chicken parm dippers and not only are they so easy, they are so stinking delicious. I made a platter of them for my son and his friends and they absolutely devoured them. Of course, I've got the written recipe for you guys. Let me know if you try them. Chicken Parm Dippers Ingredients 8 Frozen breaded chicken patties 1 can Pillsbury Grands Biscuits (8) 8 slices Mozzarella cheese 1 1/2 c. Marinara sauce, divided 1/2 c. butter, melted 1 T. fresh or dried basil, chopped 1 tsp. each: salt, pepper, & garlic powder 2 T. Grated parmesan (plus more if you like extra) Directions Preheat oven to 400 F and line two baking sheets with parchment paper. Arrange the chicken patties on one baking sheet and bake for about 10 minutes to start. Place the biscuits on the second baking sheet and place in the oven alongside the chicken and bake until they start to get golden brown (about 6-8 minutes). While everything bakes, stir together the melted butter and seasonings. Set aside. Once the chicken is crispy and the biscuits are golden brown, remove both from the oven. Slice each biscuit in half. Place one chicken patty and one slice of cheese on the bottom half of each biscuit. Spoon a little marinara sauce over the chicken, then add the biscuit tops. Brush the tops of the biscuits with the seasoned butter and place back in the oven just until the cheese is nice and melty (about 1 minute). Top with parmesan cheese and serve with extra marinara for dipping. Enjoy! Home with Hart
