✨🍜 AFFORDABLE & FRESH AUTHENTIC HAND-PULLED NOODLES IN AMSTERDAM✨🍜 Watching your noodles get hand-pulled to order right in front of you? And it doesn’t break the bank too? Pure joy 🥹👀 This is the first Dutch location of a beloved Chinese chain from Lanzhou, the city where hand-pulled noodles are basically an art form 🌟 As a Hong Kong girl 🇭🇰, I’ve been so happy watching all these authentic Asian flavors arrive in Amsterdam lately, and at really fair prices too 🤩 Here’s what makes it special: you pick your noodle thickness (from delicate threads all the way to wide, chewy ribbons), and then the chef pulls, stretches, and cooks them fresh for you. 😍 If you’re lucky, you’ll catch the chef stretching the noodles right in front of you too, but they only do so at certain points during the day/evening! 🍀🤞🏻 I always go for the widest ones, so smooth and chewy, and perfect for soaking up all that broth 🍜 A few things to try: 🐂 The classic Lanzhou beef noodle soup (€14,95): tender beef, daikon, chili oil, fresh herbs, and a slow-simmered broth that’s aromatic and deeply comforting (and it’s halal!) 🌶️ The dry-style noodles tossed with garlic, scallions, chili flakes and hot oil, a bold street-food favorite and my other go-to (€12,45) 🥟 Plus sides like dumplings and tomato egg noodle soup, pure childhood nostalgia 🥹 Despite the name, there are also some veggie options too (like the dry-style noodles and chives & egg dumplings), so there’s something for everyone 🌿 The whole experience feels like a little trip back to China or HK, the kind of meal that’s best eaten hot, fast, and with lots of slurping (sorry not sorry 😌). 📍 Jinweide, Hobbemakade 63, 1071 XL Amsterdam (walk-in only) 🍜 Halal | Veggie options 🌿 Soup, stir-fried, or dry-style, which are you starting with? 👇🍜 #amsterdamfood #amsterdamfoodie #amsterdamrestaurantguide #amsterdameats #amsterdamtips amsterdamhotspots nieuwinamsterdam newinamsterdam vegetarianamsterdam amsterdamfoodguide depijp amsterdamchinese handpullednoodles lanzhounoodles
