Amsterdam’s food scene has exploded lately with new restaurants, bakeries, cafes, & more since the beginning of the year, I cannot keep up anymore (& it’s my genuine passion!!) 😭🤣✨ So coming from Hong Kong, I’ve been keeping my own running list of every new Asian spot that’s opened in 2026, in case it’s useful for you too 🕵🏻♀️👀😂 I personally haven’t tried many of these yet, but I’m so excited to!! I’ve been here 8+ years now and honestly the change is wild!! 😍🫶 When I moved, finding the specific thing I was homesick for usually meant a phone call home to ask how to make it myself 🤣 Now there are not only one but MANY places making all types of asian cuisines, and doing it well!! 👏😍 From soba masters and chinese dessert bars to matcha spots, dumpling clubs, and vietnamese chef kitchens 💕 I’m so happy seeing how the Asian food scene has grown here, and all the community it’s building ♥️🤗 What I love most is that so many of these are small teams and family spots who decided to just go for it. Every time one opens, someone in this city gets to eat something that tastes like home 🤍 Which one are you trying first? 🏃💨 And tell me if I missed any, I’m always adding to this one 👀🫶 P.S. Love that people are this excited about Asian food right now (me too!! 😘); just hoping the excitement comes with curiosity about where the dishes actually come from, and the people & histories & traditions behind them 🤍🥹 #amsterdamfood #amsterdamfoodie #amsterdamrestaurantguide #amsterdameats #amsterdamtips amsterdamhotspots nieuwinamsterdam newinamsterdam vegetarianamsterdam amsterdamfoodguide amsterdamasian amsterdamchinese amsterdamjapanese amsterdamvietnamese
