✨🇹🇷 BEST BRUNCH IN AMSTERDAM: ALL-DAY TURKISH BRUNCH IN OUD-WEST 🇹🇷✨ I don’t say this lightly, but eating here always makes me question every place I thought was good before 🥹 It’s THAT good 🙈🏅🤯😍 cannot say enough great things to describe it but let me try!! In West, this is my absolute go-to for a warm, homey all-day brunch and lunch, run by chef Esra Acar Koç, a former head chef from İstanbul who is genuinely one of the kindest, warmest people 🤍 !! The whole place feels less like a restaurant and more like being welcomed into someone’s home. Generous food, generous people, a generous morning all around!! What I loved (but honestly, their whole menu is stellar!!) 🌀 The tahini roll: no surprise that I’m obsessed with buns (iykyk, check out my page for more if you don’t 😘), the tahini has such depth it is literally one of my fave overall buns in the city! Warm, sticky at the edges, soft inside, not too sweet, stuffed with rich, nutty tahini YUM 🤤 🥬 The spinach & cheese börek: flaky filo layered with spinach and feta, topped with a poached egg, garlic yogurt, and chili pepper butter. That moment the runny yolk melts into the butter and yogurt is everything 🥹!! Genuinely would go back for this weekly if I could. 🍳 The Breakfast to Share (for 2): an absolute AVALANCHE of little plates, buttered fried eggs, halloumi & sucuk, white cheese, İzmir tulum cheese, simit, pogaca, marinated tomato & cucumber.
