✨☕️🇮🇩 NEW: AUTHENTIC INDONESIAN SPECIALTY COFFEE & TREATS IN AMSTERDAM 🇮🇩☕️✨ There’s a new Indonesian café in Oud-West and the warmth from the second you walk in is unmatched !! 🥹💕warm wood, big windows, slow morning energy, and the kindest owner and team behind it all !! I tried the Bubur Ayam, a comforting Indonesian rice porridge with shredded chicken, crispy soybeans, fried shallots, celery, and a homemade savoury broth, served with cakwe (dough fritters), crackers, and peanut sauce. As a HK girlie who grew up with congee, every spoonful felt like home 🥹🇭🇰 The coffees are just as thoughtful. They source seasonally from Indonesia, work with farming communities back home, and put real care into every drink: ☕ ☕️ Their Kopi Susu Iced Gula Aren Latte (espresso, Indonesian palm sugar, creamer, milk) has these soft caramel and toffee notes 🌺 The espresso with kecombrang (torch ginger flower) syrup, coconut water, and tonic is coffee with a tropical, floral twist 🧋 The Es Teh Abang is their take on the sweet iced tea you’d grab from a street vendor in Indonesia What makes it special isn’t just the coffee or the food, it’s the intention behind it. A small piece of Indonesia brought to Amsterdam through every detail 💛 And they host the cutest pop-ups with small local makers too! Last week was Bella of @pandanbar.nl with her pandan tiramisu and pandan cheesecake brownies (10/10 🏅) 📍 @hejocoffee , Jan Pieter Heijestraat 137, 1054 MG Amsterdam Saving this for your next slow coffee morning? 👇☕️ #amsterdamfood #amsterdamfoodie #amsterdameats #amsterdamcoffee #amsterdamindonesian nieuwinamsterdam newinamsterdam amsterdamcafe amsterdamtips amsterdamhotspots amsterdamfoodguide vegetarianamsterdam indonesiancoffee hejocoffee
