Hook

I find it ironic that people are just now figuring out that Jackson Shelby's husband in the movie Steel Magnolias, you know, Julia Roberts, that guy is a piece of shit in real life. He married another female two or three months after she passed away in real life. And they had their son, Jack Jr., called this new wife, Mommy. I found that out back in the late 90s when I was yay high. But what I think a lot of people are not talking about is the movie Fried Green Tomatoes. The Whistle Stop Cafe. One of my favorite movies of all time. If you've never read that book, 10 out of 10. A lot of people don't know that about lesbians. The book goes way more in detail about it. The film kind of touched on it in a couple of scenes, like whenever they were in the river and they were playing cards. And at the courthouse whenever they were on trial, you know, Big John or Big Mike. Big Mike. I ain't talking about Michelle. But she stood up there on the stand and was like, that's my best friend and I love her. I wish that was my relative. I have so many questions. Like when she was in that movie, what's called Misery where she beat the shit out of that writer, Paul Sheldon or whatever his name is, Shelly Silverstein, with that sledgehammer, broke his ankles. I'm like, girl, how did you get into character for that role? Because she did so good in that role. Another good movie that she was in was Dolores. Um, Chambers. She was like a maid for this rich, uh, client. And yeah, I'm not gonna spoil it because that's a good ass movie. If you want something to go watch. They don't make movies like that anymore. I don't know. I gotta go get dinner. I'll call you back later. Bye.
