Hook
If there's one thing I really don't mess around with, it's definitely listening to music that really makes your mental state worse. Um, I am a very big believer in listening to like, motivational, happy, energetic music, right? Because there are lots of slower songs that are also very positive, okay? If you are a young person and you're watching this right now and you are in a habit where you feel like you listen to a lot of really negative, really sad music, please stop that shit right now. Okay? And I know it's like comforting, it feels comforting to go back to, okay? And I'm a little biased because I never liked that shit to begin with. My favorite era of music has been disco since I can remember since I was a little child, okay? Um, I actually get physically irritated sometimes when we are having like a good time. Like let's say we're in the car going to the beach, okay? And I'm playing, I don't know, Earth, Wind & Fire or Donna Summer or whatever, okay? And someone next up on the aux picks some absolutely, totally sad, depressing lyrics or lyrics are hanging about horrible things. I'm not saying you can never listen to sad music, okay? I'm not. Because sometimes it's important to like, sit with your emotions and work through them, okay? And sometimes you're gonna be sad in life. But you absolutely should not be listening to this stuff every day. You shouldn't. Okay? I'm not gonna name any specific artists because I really like, don't want people to fight with me. Um, people just, I don't know, lose their fucking minds over that stuff. But I'm telling you, you have got to stop listening to music that puts you in a bad mental headspace, okay? This like low frequency ass music. And you can laugh at that if you want, but it's actually true. Look it up.
