Creamy Ground Beef & Potato Casserole A comforting, cheesy casserole layered with seasoned ground beef, tender potatoes, and a creamy sauce—perfect for a family dinner! Ingredients 1 lb ground beef 1 small onion, diced 2 cloves garlic, minced 4 medium Yukon Gold or Russet potatoes, thinly sliced 1 (10.5 oz) can cream of mushroom soup 1 cup milk 1 tsp garlic powder 1 tsp onion powder 1 tsp paprika 1 tsp salt ½ tsp black pepper 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (optional) Instructions 1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish. 2. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef and diced onion until the beef is browned. Drain any excess grease. 3. Stir in the minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant. 4. In a bowl, whisk together the cream of mushroom soup, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. 5. Arrange half of the sliced potatoes in an even layer in the prepared baking dish. 6. Spread half of the cooked beef mixture over the potatoes. 7. Pour half of the creamy soup mixture over the beef, then sprinkle with 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese. 8. Repeat the layers with the remaining potatoes, beef, soup mixture, and finish with the remaining cheddar cheese. 9. Cover tightly with aluminum foil and bake for 60 minutes. 10. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 20–25 minutes, or until the potatoes are fork-tender and the cheese is golden and bubbly. 11. Let the casserole rest for 10 minutes before serving.
