If I could pick my dream bagel it would be this jalapeño cheddar sourdough bagel. Look at the cheese on the bottom. It's been a while since I've made bagels so let's make some jalapeño cheddar sourdough bagels. The biggest piece of advice I could give you when doing jalapeño cheddar is great your own cheddar cheese. It makes the biggest difference. It turns out so much better. I love these cold proof overnight. I'm gonna boil them and then we can add the toppings. I'm gonna brush them with an egg wash just so the toppings stick on a little bit better. I always put on a lot of toppings, especially the cheese. I think with the toppings, the more the better. I always do the cheese first and then the jalapeños. You can already tell these are gonna turn out beautiful. And for the jalapeños, I usually add about three to four jalapeños on each bagel. It's really just your preference. Here's what they look like before they go in the oven. I'm gonna put them in there for about 20 to 25 minutes at 425 degrees. And then I'll show you what they look like after they come out. Wish you guys could smell these bagels. My house smells like a bakery right now. I'm gonna make a breakfast sandwich with these. So stay tuned for that, but look at how they came out. Like, they're gorgeous. They're gorgeous.
