Something I genuinely wish I fucking knew sooner, something I wish people had told me when I was younger, is we're here in this life for such a short amount of time. The comparison, the stressing out over little random things, none of that fucking matters. Get clear on your values. What does a good life look like for you? What type of person do you wanna be? What do you want to experience this life? Then live in alignment with those values. That's the only shit that matters. The sooner you can realise this, the sooner you start living for yourself. I think I've been so caught up in the judgement and the perception and the opinions of other people and stressing out, comparing myself and thinking, oh, if I had this, if I did this, if I look like this, blah, blah, blah, all this, it doesn't matter. I've wasted so much time, years of my life, stressing and comparing myself to stuff that isn't real. What does a fulfilled experience in this lifetime feel like and look like for you? What type of relationships do you want in your life? What type of connections do you wanna have? What type of person do you wanna be? Figure that stuff out. Live in alignment with those things to the best of your abilities and you will have a good life.
