SIX-FIGURE NETWORTH BY 21 YRS OLD *AS A YOUNG MILITARY COUPLE*

This is how we built a six-figure net worth by 21 years old as a young military couple. The first one is not what you'd expect. Starting with number one, we did van life. He enlisted at 18 and we took our entire life savings to renovate and flip this bus. We saved tens of thousands of dollars living in it by not paying rent and since we did the entire conversion ourselves, we built so much equity and we sold it for double what we put in. Number two, we avoided lifestyle creep. Every time our income went up, our investments increased, not our spending. We always buy used cars that we pay in full for and never kept up with the Joneses or bought unnecessary materialistic things. Number three, started investing EARLY. We both opened our Roth IRAs at 18, right when he enlisted, and maxed those out along with his TSP and my solo 401k. So now at 23 years old, we've had over five years in the market and that compound growth really matters. Number four is we built multiple income streams. I'm a content creator that has unlimited earning potential, so combining that with the stability of his military paycheck, along with two of the businesses he's built, gives us both security and unlimited earning power. Number five, we track every dollar. We know exactly where our money's going every single month.
