Second one is budget like your life depends on it and track it as much as you can. There should be a 2% slippage rule for anything that kind of goes into miscellaneous for everything else should be tracked and seen. Next one is get your retirement number. You don't just want to be working until that number that you need to know what that number looks like. Generally it's 25 times your annual expenses. Next, you need an emergency folder in case of emergencies someone needs to be able to find your accounts, your records and your certificates. Next, it is investments. Make sure you have a rate that you're gonna set aside every month. Typically you don't want to go any lower than 10% of your monthly income aside each month towards investing. One, you need to know about the tax allowances in your country. If you're in the UK, use things like your ISAs and SISS and if you're in America, you need to be using your Roth IRA.
